Relieving Pain - Restoring Posture with Advanced Clinical Bodywork

Client Comments - General

One of Rebecca's clients sent a letter  which included comments from her ENT, an MD at Yale Medical School and Surgery. This physician had initially referred her for Neuromuscular Therapy, but says he never expected it to work this well, or to have seen this much progress. He was most surprised that the feeling has returned inside her ear after having had no feeling for over a year. His actual statement was, "This is amazing."  Evidently, this almost never returns in a diagnosis like hers, and according to the medical journals, this therapy is not supposed to work this well. It also surprised him that NMT stopped the vibrating sensation behind her eardrum that had been going on for a year, since most people have to live with that forever. I love that the techniques taught by the gurus in my field can provide such good results for people in pain, and that the traditional medical model is beginning to see and become receptive to its validity.

"I have had multiple wonderful experiences at NNC. It is my "go to" place for minor and major issues related to posture, injury, general aches and pain. It is a very professional, relaxing environment, and Rebecca is simply amazing. She has a gift for healing and zeros in on the issue. No running around to different practitioners. I highly recommend Rebecca at NNC!!" ~Sandra M.

"I feel like I have been to every place in Nashville that offers 'neuromuscular therapy.' I have never had anything that even comes close to the approach Rebecca Saindon and the Nashville Neuromuscular Center provides. They are so thorough and the techniques are way different from all the other people who do neuromuscular work. I got real relief from my symptoms for the first time in 12 years, and it's lasted for over 6 months as of today. These folks are the real deal!" ~Jenny D.

"We (my physician husband who researched & found NNC & I) have been very pleased with the evaluation, treatment, professionalism, timely response to phone messages, and my relationship with NNC. They are kind & caring and I have complete confidence in their knowledge and abilities to deal with my problems. I knew that right away on my first visit!!!"   ~ J.S.

"I am 50 years old and have suffered from severe pain  from osteoarthritis for 15 years. I am unable to take many of the medications for this condition because of drug allergies. Physical Therapy, acupuncture and  massage therapy have helped to alleviate some of the  pain, but I have achieved better pain management through the therapeutic massage treatments with Rebecca Saindon  at the Nashville Neuromuscular Center. After about four  treatments, my overall pain has been reduced by 80%.  Rebecca has been very helpful in showing me ways to  manage my pain between treatments." ~ (client name  withheld by request)

"After two car wrecks and 20 years of periodic misery, I believed my condition was just something I'd have to learn to live with the rest of my life.   The Nashville Neuromuscular Center was able to quickly assess the primary cause of my chronic pain, and provide a measure of relief in the first session. Over the past several months, I have seen continuous improvement to the point of not having to fear the dreaded spasms which used to drop me on the floor. After having seen a series of neurosurgeons, doctors, chiropractors and therapists, NNC was the only place able to provide the clinical care as well as long term guidance on specific exercise that has me very hopeful for a future without overwhelming back pain." ~Bill K

"I struggled with chronic neck and shoulder pain for many years, and got no relief through medical channels. A neurologist at Vanderbilt recommended I try neuromuscular massage therapy with Rebecca Saindon at the Nashville Neuromuscular Center, and after diligent work with her, my pain is mostly gone, and what remains is very much under control. Rebecca, aside from being a wonderful person and a joy to visit, is an amazing therapist, and really got to the heart of my problem immediately. She has helped me undo years of compensation for the pain and the imbalance it created in my body. I wholeheartedly recommend her." ~Lisa B., Attorney

"I am 53 years old and am a full-time Registered Nurse. hen I was referred to Nashville Neuromuscular Center, I was hurting in many places; back, neck, and shoulders especially. I felt really frustrated, because I thought 'If I feel like this in my 50's, how will I ever make it                         in my 70's?' So, when I was asked what my goals were by  being there, I replied that I woud like to be stronger  so I could play volleyball longer and that I would like to have my pain decreased.  I was surprised, very pleasantly, to hear Rebecca say  that I should aim to be pain free. I had not had that  thought before, since I had always believed that   everyone has some pain they have to bear.  Rebecca's encouragement, as well as always taking a thorough history, giving hands-on care, and very  practical hints to improve my posture, alignment and  attitude gave me a lot of relief. Just being told that it was possible to learn to sleep in a better position  made me try it, and to my surprise and great joy, my  back pain is much better. My shoulders are better also,  in part due to exercise she gave me, and in part from the foam supports she made for my car seat which make me  sit up straighter and hold my shoulders in much better  form. This information and encouragement has made a huge    difference in my life and just being made aware of the ways in which I was living a lifestyle that increased stress and strain on my body has helped me to adjust and change, so that I now have hope of playing volleyball many more years, and also of being pain free for a lot   more of my life. I can't say how much I appreciate and how much I learned from Rebecca. She not only gave me a  new way of life, but she also gave of herself, which is  evident by her dedication and enthusiasm for her job. It seems to be more than a job to her, and that can make   all the difference in results.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who is having problems similar to mine and feel strongly that it is a useful method of returning one to a healthier and  happier life."  ~Tina O'Connor, RN

I can't say enough good things about Nashville Neuromuscular Center! I began going several years ago after my daughter -- a massage therapist in Denver -- researched the options here and determined that the training and experience of the NNC therapists was the best available. That promise has been met and then some. The therapists at NNC have kept me going despite hip and knee issues that threatened to immobilize me. I've recommended the practice to several friends, and their experiences have been similar. ~Natilee D. 2018

Rebecca Saindon at Nashville Neuromuscular Center is an amazing MyoFascial Release therapist. I first saw Rebecca several years ago for a persistent neck issue that had not responded to traditional physical therapy, including massage and electric stimulation therapy. After four sessions, my issue had completely resolved. Recently, I returned to see Rebecca for TMJ issues and have full confidence that we will also be able to resolve this issue. I highly recommend Rebecca and this practice. ~Kristen C.

Rebecca is the BEST! She helped me with my neck and lower back issues and become aware of where my pain was coming from and why. She also recommended me to a trainer to simultaneously help get my body aligned again as I was going to her. It's not the quick fix band aid with Rebecca, it's the real deal long lasting relief (but you have to do the work and do what she recommends!). Rebecca wants you to get well! ~Olivia J.

" First off, you're my miracle worker. I woke  up this morning very tender/sore, but with NO pain. I am moving more and had less tenderness as the day progressed. Thank you so much for everything. I would  like to make an appointment with you  to learn some exercises to strengthen as well. I  took your advice and I really think that made a huge difference. I really want to express my thanks for you seeing me on such short notice as well as being very compassionate and helpful. I have never experienced pain like that, and hope I never do, but will definitely spread the word of you and Nashville Neuromuscular. Thanks so much." ~ Jaclyn
